Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mixed during the past week.

Acting provincial cattle specialist Natasha Wilkie says steer prices ranged from 269 dollars per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 182 dollars 88 cents per hundredweight for the over 900 pound weight category this week.

The largest price increase was in the 800 to 900 pound category, up 4 dollars 56 cents while the biggest decline was in the 300 to 400 pounds, dropping 3 dollars 88 cents per hundredweight.

Feeder heifer prices were mixed to higher, with prices ranging from 224 dollars 13 cents for the 300 to 400 pounds, to 173 dollars 58 cents for the over 800 pound category.
