Online learning begins for K-4 students at Henry Janzen School

Children in grades Kindergarten to Four at Henry Janzen School will be taking part in remote learning until early October.

This comes as multiple COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in individuals at the school. All close contacts have been notified.

Starting Tuesday, all classes for the affected students will be shifted to online learning until Friday, Oct. 1. In-person classes are scheduled to resume Monday, Oct. 4, granted that students are symptom-free.

Parents will be contacted by their child’s teacher with further details for remote learning.

This is the first school to shift to remote learning this school year in the Regina Public School Division.

The Regina Public School Division adds there are cases at 11 schools.  Others are:

  •  Lakeview School (2)
  •  École Centennial Community School (2)
  •  McDermid Community School
  •  Walker School (2)
  •  École Elsie Mironuck Community ( 2)
  •  Dr. L.M. Hanna School
  •  Albert Community School
