First doses of COVID vaccines reaches 80 percent in Saskatchewan

Eighty percent of eligible residents in Saskatchewan have received at least one dose of COVID vaccine.

This comes as a significant increase in COVID vaccinations since the announcement of a proof of vaccination or negative test requirement program coming into effect October 1st.

All provincial and crown employees are also required to have proof of vaccination or provide regular negative tests.

Seventy-one percent of eligible Saskatchewan residents have received two doses of COVID-19.

The province continues to advocate for everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated as it is the best defence against COVID-19.
