Two suspects arrested after weapons incident at a Regina business

Two people are facing weapons charges after an incident at a business on Dewdney Avenue on Friday.

Regina Police were called to the 2900 block of Dewdney Avenue at about 3:30 that afternoon for a report of an altercation involving a firearm. It was reported that a woman was allegedly damaging merchandise while a man was seen in possession of a firearm.

When police arrived, they were able to locate and arrest both suspects. A search to the suspects revealed a BB gun, a knife, and some canisters of animal deterrent.

27-year-old Emily Wilson faces three charges, including carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon and mischief under five thousand dollars, while 19-year-old Nakayle Riddel faces two counts of possession of a weapon.
