One Saskatchewan doctor has taken to Twitter to debunk several pieces of misinformation on COVID-19 she has found “strange/very wrong.”
Dr. Susan Shaw — who is an intensive care unit doctor and chief medical officer for the Saskatchewan Health Authority — has posted a seven-tweet thread aiming to inform residents about the facts about COVID-19.
Dr. Shaw adds in the thread that Saskatchewan-based physicians, nurses, and epidemiologists have “nothing to gain” from COVID-19, saying health professionals are working to keep people safe and return to a new normal.
Some strange/very wrong claims going on in replies to some of my tweets
