12 deaths, 300 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan on Friday

Another 300 people have tested positive for COVID-19 according to the provincial government’s COVID-19 dashboard.

The new cases come from Saskatoon (78), the south east (43), Regina (38), the central east (32), the north west (25), the far north east (20), the north central (16), the south central (12), the north east (six), the central west (five), and the far north west (three).

Another 12 people have died after testing positive for COVID-19. This increases the death toll to 812.

There are 308 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 80 in ICU.

Another 259 people have recovered. The active case count is up to 3,135.

There were 3,023 new tests processed.

When it comes to vaccines, another 4,216 new doses were administered, including 1,482 first doses.

A total of 775,941 people in Saskatchewan are fully vaccinated.
