Regina Police say a 16-year-old girl is the city’s 12th homicide victim of the year.

Around 2:00 a.m. Monday morning, officers were sent to the 1200 block of Rae Street where the girl’s body was found, she was then pronounced dead by EMS upon arrival.

An underage boy was also located at the scene, he was taken to hospital for injuries described as serious.

Police say no suspects have been arrested at this time.
