188 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan is reporting that there are 188 new cases of COVID-19.

127 of those cases are from individuals who are not vaccinated including 49 from children 11 and under who are not eligible to receive the vaccination.

The Saskatoon zone is reporting that there are 33 new cases, in the Regina area there are 28 while in the southeast region there are 27.

 

The active case has increased by 17 and is now at 1,782.

There were no new deaths due to COVID-19 with the death toll remaining at 862. There are currently 214 people in hospital due to COVID-19 including 49 in ICU.

3,357 doses were administered yesterday including 2,345 individuals now fully vaccinated.
