141 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan

The province is reporting that there are 141 new cases of COVID-19 in the province today.

85 of them are being reported from individuals who are not vaccinated including 32 from children who are 11 under who are not eligible for the vaccine.

There are 33 cases within the Regina area while there are 23 cases being reported in both in the Saskatoon and Southeast regions.

There are 17 less residents in hospital due to COVID-19 with the total now at 197 including 49 in ICU.

One death was reported due to COVID-19 which brings the death toll up to 863.

The active case count increased by 14 and now sits 1,796.

On the vaccine front, there were 3,418 doses issued including 2,383 individuals now vaccinated.
