The Regina Pats extended their winning streak to four Friday night, with a dominant 6-1 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Regina got goals from Zach Stringer, Tanner Howe who scored twice, Adam McNutt, Ryker Evans and Cole Carrier.

They also out shot Brandon 44-22, and have recorded 40 or more shots on net in three of the last four games.

Forward Borya Valis said after the game that was a department they wanted to improve on.

“That’s been our goal, get lots of shots on net, create rebounds and second chances, that’s how we’ve been preparing and it’s a big part of what’s been getting us wins,” Valis said.

The Pats, who are now 6-7-0-0 will be off until Wednesday now when they’ll host the Red Deer Rebels (9-5-1-0).
