Study offers reasons for people not wanting to be vaccinated in Saskatchewan

Researchers at the University of Saskatchewan have released a new study when it comes to why people in the province are not getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

The study, which included 9,000 residents in Saskatchewan from one corner of the province to the other, showed 13 percent had not decided whether or not they would get the vaccine while another 11 percent said they will not get vaccinated.

The refusal or skepticism comes from things like indifference of spreading the virus to others, financial stability and a lower level of education.

It is hoped that the study will result in some direction when it comes to the efforts currently being made to get those who haven’t been vaccinated to do so.
