One death, 62 new cases reported in COVID update

Saskatchewan saw a decrease in its daily COVID-19 case count in the province’s daily update.

Sixty-two new cases were reported, with 181 people recovering, dropping the active total to 1,047.

The new cases are located in the Far North West (2), North West (2), North Central (12), North East (6), Saskatoon (8), Central East (3), Regina (8), South West (2), South Central (5) and South East (7) zones and seven (7) new cases have pending residence information.

The 62 cases marks the lowest number the province has seen since November 13.

One more person died after testing positive for COVID-19, bringing the provincial death toll to 911.

There are 150 people in the hospital, down from 155 on Saturday. Of those, 36 are in intensive care, eight people receiving care in out of province ICUs
