High prices in early sales at Canadian Western Agribition

 

There are some interesting results in the first purebred cattle sales Wednesday at Canadian Western Agribition.

A Speckle Park heifer calf went to an Australian buyer for 12 thousand dollars.

The high price was for a bred cow in the Speckle Park sale, going for 55 thousand dollars.

The 20 lots averaged 94 hundred dollars.

In the simmental sale, the 16 lots averaged 10 thousand 500 dollars.

The high price was 42 thousand dollars for a heifer calf from Manitoba going to Longview cattle company in Grenfell.

In the Maine-Anjou sale, the high price was 16 thousand dollars for a heifer calf.

The 15 lots in the Maine-Anjou sale average 72 hundred 33 dollars.
