Pats lose 10-3 to Hitman in blow out loss

The Regina Pats were blown out by the Calgary Hitman 10-3 Sunday afternoon.

Rielly Fiddler-Schultz had four goals and two assists for the Hitman, apart of eight Calgary players to have at least two points.

The Hitman put the game out of reach early, scoring five unanswered goals, including three in the first period. The Pats would cut the lead to three at one point after goals from Easton Armstrong (1) and Connor Bedard (11), but Calgary would continue to pour on the offence with a four-goal third period.

Logan Nijhoff (7) would also score for the Pats as both he and Bedard had a goal and an assist in the loss.

Regina has now last two in a row, after having their three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday.

The Pats will return to Saskatchewan after a four-game Alberta road trip in Prince Albert to face the Raiders this Friday with puck drop at 7:00 p.m.
