Regina Police have a man and woman in custody after an alleged armed robbery early Monday morning.

In a release, police say they were sent to the 2700 block of 5th Avenue where they found a 26-year-old man around 12:30.  The man told officers he had been held against his will and repeatedly assaulted by a man and woman who were known to him.   The victim also claimed to have been robbed of personal items by the pair at a home on the 700 block of Rae Street.

The two suspects were found inside and taken into custody without incident

30-year-old Vanessa Okemaysim and 31-year-old Wesley Taypotat made a court appearance Tuesday.
