A 27-year-old woman is facing charges after an alleged home invasion just east of downtown Regina.

Police were called to a residence on the 1600 block of Toronto Street last Friday, where they found an injured man who says a group broke into his home and assaulted him.

Twenty-even-year-old Hope Cyr, was arrested on the 1900 block of Atkinson Street, and has been charged with break and enter and aggravated assault.

Cyr was in court on Monday.

Regina Police say the incident is still under investigation, anyone with more information is asked to call RPS. or Crime Stoppers.
