81 new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan

The government of Saskatchewan is reporting that there are 81 new cases of COVID-19 in the province today.

Of the new cases, 31 of them are located in the south east region, 9 cases are in the North Central area with 8 new cases located in the Regina and Central East areas.

There are 133 hospitalized cases due to COVID-19 including 35 in ICU.

On the vaccine front there were 5,430 doses issued yesterday with 697 individuals now fully vaccinated.

The province is reporting that 23,440 children between the ages of 5-11 have received a dose of the vaccine.
