Regina-based Farm Credit Canada is offering a helping hand to farmers devastated by flooding in B.C.
Senior vice president for Western operations, Don Anderson, says FCC is offering short-term credit options and deferral of principal payments to producers affected by the disaster.
He says some farmers have already applied.
More than 400 cows, 10,000 hogs and half a million chickens were killed in the flooding in the lower mainland in November.
FCC has also given $100,000 to support B.C. agricultural relief efforts.
