Fajardo thanks fans for support

The 2021 CFL season was not easy on Riders quarterback Cody Fajardo.

After a breakthrough 2019 season where he was perhaps the story of the year, this past year saw Fajardo struggle somewhat with many fans criticizing the 29-year-old for his play.

The burden of the season was evident Monday when Fajardo became emotional talking about what it means to him to be the starting quarterback of the football club prompting a lot of positive support being thrown his way.

On Wednesday, Fajardo said thank you

Fajardo’s message ends with him saying he can’t wait for the day that we all share a Grey Cup celebration and that he can’t wait for the 2022 season
