With the holidays around the corner and many planning to hit the road in the next few days – motorists are encouraged to make safe plans, using the highway hotline.
Highways Minister Fred Bradshaw announced the province would be trying to make that as easy as possible this season, adding 10 new cameras to highways around Saskatchewan.
These cameras will allow travelers and the ministry staff to monitor more of the province’s roadways than ever before – hopefully making the holidays just a little safer.
Information about road conditions can be found on the hotline’s website, twitter, and Facebook – or by dialing 511.
