Covid-19 is on the rise across the province – with the latest report showing 198 cases of COVID-19 in the province.

Of the new cases 63 are reported in the Saskatoon area, 64 in the Regina zone, and 18 in the Central East region.

52 of the new cases are of the Omicron variant. To date there are 148 cases of the Variant in the province.

There is 1 death to report bringing the total to 945.

87 hospitalized cases due to COVID-19 with 29 in ICU.

The active case count is up to 789 with 35 recoveries.

On the vaccine front there were 2,401 doses issued including 1,275 individuals becoming fully vaccinated.
