Regina Police are reporting the cities first homicide.

Authorities responded to “early information” on the afternoon of tuesday January 4th – that pointed to a deceased person inside a home on the 1600 Block of Toronto Street. Inside the home they found 63 year old Deborah Mae Mahadeo, was deceased. In the early stages of the investigation no other details are bring released.

The accused – 34 year old Raefe Aeron Mahadeo is being charged with second degree murder and made his first court appearance the morning of January 5th.
