Pats add Linklater and Salame

The Regina Pats made a couple of moves on Monday.

They acquired 2003-born forward Logan Linklater from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a conditional eighth round pick in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.

Linklater has played in 26 games with the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Kindersley Klippers this season, scoring eight goals and adding six assists for 14 points.

The Kindersley native, appeared in 22 games with the Raiders last season, scoring five points

The Pats also claimed 2001-born defenceman Neithan Salame off waivers from the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Salame was traded to Victoria in October, The deal was eventually rescinded by the league because the Royals said he arrived injured and was unable to perform. His rights then reverted back to the Wheat Kings, who subsequently placed him on waivers.
