Sask. sees 19 patients admitted in hospital due to COVID-19

Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in Saskatchewan have spiked according to the Government’s latest COVID update.

The province now has 150 hospitalized cases of COVID-19, an increase of 19. That number includes an increase of three people in the ICU.

The 150 cases also mark the most the province has seen since late November.

Along with the increase in hospitalizations, the province reported 1,114 new cases. There were also 556 recovered cases that increased the active case count to 10,923.

The new cases were reported in the Far Northwest (25), Far North Central (5), Far Northeast (4), Northwest (49), North Central (70), Northeast (29), Saskatoon (327), Central West (17), Central East (76), Regina (266), Southwest (53), South Central (30), Southeast (71).
