The Riders first-round pick from 2019 will stick around a while longer.

The club signed receiver Justin McInnis to a contract extension on Monday. No terms were released.

McInnis was the 6th-overall pick in the 2019 CFL Draft. He’s played 20 games for the Riders, making 15 catches for 232 yards.

He was on the roster for six games this past season, dealing with a hamstring injury.

McInnis is the second receiver to re-sign before free agency, joining Kyran Moore.
