A member of the 2021 Saskatchewan Roughriders has been selected to represent Canada at the Winter Olympics next month in Beijing.

Jay Dearborn has been selected as a member of the four-man bobsleigh team for Team Canada.

The national defensive back/linebacker joined the Riders in the 2019, mostly spending time on special teams.

In 2021, Dearborn spent time on defence including recording his first two career interceptions.

The four man bobsleigh competition begins on February 19.

Dearborn is scheduled to become a free agent on February 8.
