The province reported 6 COVID-19 related fatalities Jan 26th, along with an increase in hospitalizations of 24 – bringing the total hospitalized patient count to 315, with 33 patients in the ICU.

1149 new COVID-19 infections were reported in the province among the new cases, 342 Saskatoon, 227 Regina and 129 in the south east.

The provincial test positivity rate is 33%, with 3586 tests being administered.

On a positive note in Saskatchewan we had 1,444 recoveries and over 1200 residents receiving their second vaccine dose.
