The Saskatchewan RCMP is appealing to the public for anyone who has information regarding Sarah Jackson’s whereabouts.
In a video published by the RCMP, both Mariecar, Sarah Jackson’s Mom, and an RCMP officer ask anyone who has information about the ongoing investigation.
“I have not seen my daughter Sarah since November last year,” Mariecar said. “Sarah, I’m so sorry it’s taking so long for mommy to find you. I will do my best. I will never give up on searching for you. I promise I will take you home one day. Sarah always cares for the people in her life. Now I need that one person who knows where Sarah is to care about her. Please help bring Sarah home to me.”
Sergeant Major Darryl Milo with the Saskatchewan RCMP said the public needs to remain vigilant.
“We need the public’s help to bring Sarah home to her mom. They are out there. You could see them at a store; they could be in your neighbourhood or your community. If you think you see them: take out your phone, look at their pictures online to help confirm it’s them.”
Jackson, who is seven years old, is believed to be with her father, Michael Gordon Jackson. There is a Canada-wide warrant for Michael’s arrest, and he is charged with abduction in contravention of a custody or parenting order as Sarah’s mon has full custody.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Sarah or Michael Gordon Jackson is asked to call the Saskatchewan RCMP at 310-RCMP (7267) or (306) 780-5563. Information can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1‐800‐222‐TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
At this time, the criteria are not met for an Amber Alert. Investigators continue to assess the circumstances and information related to this file on an ongoing basis and as new information is reported to the police.
