Regina Police along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and the Regina Fire and Protective Services are conducting  an investigation following the discovery of a dead person as a result of a fatal house fire early Thursday morning.

Regina Fire and Protective Services responded to a call to a fire of a residence on 10th Avenue just before 2:00 am Thursday morning. Shortly afterwards, they crews were notified there was an individual inside of the home.

Investigators continue to work to identify the deceased who is believed to be an adult male.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, anyone with information that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact Regina Police or Crime Stoppers.
