Pats drop close game on home ice to Rebels

The Regina Pats fell behind in the second period last night and couldn’t recover, losing 3-2 on home ice to the Red Deer Rebels.

Stanislav Svozil and Tye Spencer scored for the Pats, with Drew Sim making 26 saves in the Pats net. Connor Bedard, Zane Rowan and Jakob Brook got the assists on the goals for the Pats, who were outshot 29-26 in the contest.

Shaunavon product Kalan Lind scored twice for the Rebels, including the  eventual game-winner at 12:25 of the second period.

The Pats will get a chance to get back in the win column tonight at the Brandt Centre when they face the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
