Sask government closely watching events in Ukraine

The Saskatchewan government is closely watching events in Ukraine.

Agriculture minister David Marit says the Russian invasion could have a serious impact on world markets.

But he says its too early to determine what will happen with markets this spring.

The Saskatchewan legislature voted unanimously in support of Ukraine this week.

Marit is hoping for a quick resolution to the invasion.

Ukraine is the third largest wheat exporter in the world.
