Moe sees approval rating increase before budget

Ahead of unveiling the Government of Saskatchewan’s budget later this week, Premier Scott Moe has seen his approval rating increase over the 50 per cent mark.

According to the Agnus Reid Institute, Saskatchewan’s Premier saw his approval rating increase by six to 51 per cent, making him the fourth most popular Premier in Canada.

For Moe, it marks a recovery in his approval rating from a low of 43 per cent back in September of 2021 but is also a long way from his high of 65 per cent.

The Agnus Reid Institue adds that the data was collected before a pickup truck registered in Moe’s name was impounded.

The provincial government will be releasing its budget this Wednesday, and 620 CKRM will have live coverage starting at 2:00 p.m.
