CP Rail work stoppage comes to an end

The work stoppage for Canadian Pacific Railway is over.

Representatives from CP Rail and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference have agreed to final and binding arbitration to end their labour dispute which will allow workers to return to the job today at noon local time.

Union representative Dave Fulton said in a statement that the move to end job action and accept final and binding arbitration was not taken lightly.

C-P Rail says it will immediately begin working with customers to resume normal train operations across Canada as soon as possible.
