Riders add to their offensive line

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added some Canadian content to their offensive line.

The green and white have signed Maurice Simba to a contract.

Simba was originally drafted by the Toronto Argos in the 2019 draft in the 4th round.

The national lineman did not start playing football until he immigrated to Canada in 2012 after growing up in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

After playing at Concordia University for four seasons (2015-18), Simba was invited to compete in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, becoming the first ever Canadian to participate in the game.
