Police arrest man for trafficking fentanyl in Regina

The Regina Police have arrested a Calgary man in relation to drug trafficking.

34-year-old Jason Danquah was arrested police executed a search warrant on a residence in the Cathedral Area of Regina. During the search warrant, police found 480 grams of fentanyl, $22,500.00 in Canadian Currency, multiple cell phones, digital scales, packaging and other items to support fentanyl trafficking.

 Danquah is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

He made his first court appearance on Wednesday.
