There are several sure signs of spring in Regina.  The melted snow, potholes, and street sweeping.

Its that time again, as the City of Regina announced the sweepers will be unleashed April 3rd.  The first spots to get the broom are the major boulevards and medians, followed by the major roadways and arteries.  Later this month, the city’s sweepers will slide into neighbourhoods.  People are being asked to get their cars of the roads during sweeping, to allow the machines to clean the entire road.

The city is also offering up its “Sweep Alert” services.  You will get a notification when the street sweepers will be descending on your block.
