Even though the season is over for the Regina Pats, Connor Bedard and Tanner Howe still have some hockey left to play.
Bedard and Howe have been selected to Canada’s U18 team that will be competing in Germany.
This will be the second time Bedard will represent Canada in the IIHF Under 18 World championships after competing in 2021 championships in Texas.
Bedard concluded his 2021-22 season by becoming the youngest player in the WHL to record 50 goals in a season along with finishing off the season with 100 points.
Howe wrapped his rookie season with 27 goals and 42 assists for 69 points.
The pair of Regina Pats were among the 13 players selected from the Western Hockey League to represent Canada at the IIHF U18 World Championships.
Canada opens up the tournament against the Team USA on April 23.
