Canada with Bedard, Howe, fall to U.S. at World U18s

Members of the Regina Pats Connor Bedard, Tanner Howe and the Canadian hockey team lost 8-3 to the United States Saturday at the IIHF world U-18 hockey championships in Germany.
Bedard had a goal and an assist for Canada, who surrendered 51 shots in the game to the Americans. Howe picked up a minor penalty in the game.
Canada faces host Germany Sunday, with the opening faceoff at 11:30 a.m.
