Canada improves to 1-1 at U18s

After an opening day loss to the Americans, Team Canada bounced back at the IIHF Under 18 Championships with a 8-3 win against Germany.

Connor Bedard picked up a hat trick for Team Canada to lead the way. Bedard has now become Canada’s all time leader in both goals and points at the IIHF Under 18 Championships.

Regina Pats prospect Matthew Wood also picked a goal for Canada in the win.

The tournament takes a break on Monday, Canada will be in action on Tuesday morning against Czechia.
