Federal Funding to help improve Tourism in Moose Jaw.

Some local treasures in Moose Jaw are getting some key funding for upgrades and improvements.

Through “PrariesCan”, Tourism Moose Jaw is getting 295-thousand dollars to improve the Moose Jaw Tolley Tour. The money will go towards adding another trolley, and to improve wheelchair access.

The Tunnels of Moose Jaw is getting just under 100-thousand dollars to improve guest experiences.

And the City of Moose Jaw is getting just over 109 thousand dollars to pave and restore over 700 metres of pathways in Crescent Park.

In a news release Mayor Clive Tolley said “The Trolley Tour, the Tunnels of Moose Jaw, and beautiful Crescent Park are all pillars of Moose Jaw’s tourism industry. Paving and restoring the pathways in Crescent Park, the purchase of the new trolley, and the addition of Bunker 24 to the Tunnels of Moose Jaw will provide a significant investment in Canada’s Most Notorious City – Moose Jaw! We are incredibly grateful for this strong support for our tourism industry.”

All of this is federal funding through the Canada Revitalization Fund.
