A campground and walking trail in Moose Jaw’s Wakamow Valley Park was officially renamed after a former Premier.

Lorne Calvert and his wife Betty were in attendance last week as the Lorne Calvert Campground and Lorne Calvert Loop were renamed.

In a media release, Calvert said: “Four generations of our family have grown up learning of life and God’s creation within Wakamow Valley.”

He added he is very honoured to have those facilities in Wakamow bearing his name.
