Jewelry story robbery has Regina police looking for information

Regina Police are asking for help after a business was robbed yesterday.

Police were dispatched to the business at the Southland Mall after a man entered a jewelry store, walked to the back wall to a display of gold chains, grabbed several of them, stuffed them in a bag and left the store, where he then fled.

The suspect then fled via the mall exit near the library branch, and it’s believed he fled in a taxi but only went a short distance before running away.

The suspect is about 25-40 years old, about 5′ 8″ tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with dark hair and tanned skin, and was wearing a toque, grey hoodie and black pants.

Anyone with information to help the police is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6364 or Regina Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
