Early Friday morning, Regina police arrested a man behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle who also had a rifle with ammunition.
Police found the man driving a Mazda 3 hung up on a median at North Pasqua Street and Pasqua Gate at 3:38 a.m. Friday who appeared to be unconscious.
They got him safely out of the vehicle that they discovered was stolen. A long rifle was tucked between the driver’s seat and the door.
Bryan Joseph McNabb, 34, was charged with theft of the vehicle, possession of firearms, careless use of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition and possession of the stolen car.
He made his first appearance on those charges Friday in provincial court.
