The search for a Prince Albert mother and her children is over as Prince Albert Police say they have located Michelle Spence and her two children are safe and sound.

Spence and her two children were reported missing earlier this week after they were last seen Monday afternoon.

Police had issued a couple of photos of the family over the week in an effort to help locate the trio.

Prince Albert Police say they appreciate the assistance from the media and the public in this investigation.

There was no word from police on where the three were located.
