The RCMP in Fort Qu’Appelle have been able to track down someone they have been looking for, for over a month.

In early April the RCMP put out a news release, asking the public to help them find  Colten Obey of the Pasqua First Nation.

At the time, police said he was wanted on several charges dating back to 2021.

The charges include 1 count of Sexual Assault, 1 count of  Assault with a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.  He has also been charged with failing to attend court, and failing to comply with a court order.

Police now say they have arrested Obey, but they did not say where, when, or how they were able to find him.

Obey is expected to make a court appearance in the next few days.
