The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced their first set of cuts.
The most notable name on the list is American Wide Receiver Paul McRoberts. McRoberts spent time with the Riders in 2021, he had one reception for four yards along with one carry for nine yards.
Quarterback Troy Williams was also released by the green and white. Williams saw action in Tuesday’s preseason matchup against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Williams was 5 for 7 with 41 yards passing against the Bombers.
