Premier Scott Moe heads to U.S. for trade mission on energy and investment

Premier Scott Moe leaves Sunday June 6 for a trade mission to the U.S. to advance investment opportunities and push for continental energy security with U.S. trading partners.

Moe will be in New York to point to Saskatchewan as a leading destination for global investment, outlining carbon capture, enhanced oil recovery, small modular nuclear reactors and developing critical minerals and rare earth elements.

The conference board of Canada recently said Saskatchewan will lead GDP growth in Canada this year.

The premier will also meet with key legislators in Washington to outline Saskatchewan as a reliable source for energy and other natural resource commodities.

Saskatchewan has 23 of Canada’s 31 critical minerals list, as well as supplies of uranium and oil.

The Premier’s 6 day trade mission wraps up on Friday June 10.
