About 1500 of the best student track and field athletes in the province will be in Regina for the next couple of days, competing in the SHSAA Provincial Track and Field championships at the Canada Games Athletic Complex

There will be nine track events, seven field events and two combined Quadathlon events.

The events will be divided into three categories, Intermediate (under 15), Junior (under 16) and Senior (16+)
