Wild 10th inning allows Moose Jaw to beat Red Sox

For the first time in the 2022 season, the Regina Red Sox lost on home turf, as they were defeated by the Moose Jaw Miller Express 8-4 in 10 innings on Monday night.

The game was tied 1-1 heading into extra innings before Moose Jaw offence’s exploded for seven runs in the 10th.

Regina would score three runs of their own in the bottom of the inning, but it was not enough.

Braden Houston went 6.1 innings and allowed one run with a pair of hits and recorded seven strikeouts.

Cade Nelson was 3 for 4 with a RBI for the Red Sox.

The Red Sox will try and rebound as they head to Weyburn to meet the Beavers tonight. (Tuesday)
