After an offensive explosion last week against the Weyburn Beavers, the Regina Red Sox bats were silenced in Weyburn on Tuesday night as the Beavers blanked the Red Sox 1-0.
The Red Sox outhit the Beavers, but were unable to record a run.
Andy Cook had a strong start on the mound for Regina as he pitched seven innings and allowed no runs on a pair hits while recording 13 strikeouts.
The Red Sox fall to 3-5 on the season. Regina will return to action at Currie Field Wednesday night when they host the Moose Jaw Miller Express.
